The building of National Theatre of Albania (1939-2020)
The building of National Theatre Albania was demolished at Mai 17 2020 before the sunset. The people of Tirana were in the impossibility to protest because of pandemic confinement. But even on those conditions, the civil society and the artists protested. They had been defending the building of National Theatre for more than two years and numerous of them were inside of the building when the demolishing process started. Their pacific protest was harshly oppressed by a violent low enforcement action in full pandemic confinement.
