Pope Francis will visit Albania on 21 September 2014. I very much hope this is the moment when the Vatican will announce the long-overdue canonization of Mother Teresa.

Whatever reasons those who object to Mother Teresa’s canonization may have, they pale into insignificance when weighed against her unique contribution to the Catholic Church.

Few outstanding individuals, religious or otherwise, in the history of mankind have done so much to sanctify human dignity like Albanian-born Mother Teresa throughout her missionary life that began in India in 1929 and ended in 1997.
