Programming and Production
Under general supervision from a Senior Producer, the Producer researches, develops, produces, writes, and edits video segments for Thinkers Lab and KlaraBudaPost Working with IPTV’s unit. This Producer will produce video segments, primarily in the field for KlaraBudaPost Video. KlaraBudaPost Video is a series that highlights differents personalities in the field of Art and Culture.
Applicant must have proven journalism expertise and capability to provide creativity and judgment on content and treatment of assigned video features and programs. Applicant also must have effective and creative writing skills. Applicant must possess organizational proficiency in coordinating all video production logistical needs, capacity to work as a member of a production team, and competence in providing direction to all assigned production and related personnel. Applicant must be able to work efficiently with computer programs in word processing and database applications. Familiarity with state-of-the-art computer video editing equipment and techniques, and experience in video production and/or repurposing video for use in other mediums including, but not limited to, the internet, social media outlets, etc. is preferred. Position will require travel in Washinton. Applicant must be willing to work varied schedule, including nights and weekends as assigned. This is a temporary position with a time frame of May 13, 2015 to January 1, 2016 working approximately 20-30 hours per week. Pay will be $17-20 per hour.
